Doni Koesoema A. M.Ed

Born in 1973 in Klaten, Jawa Tengah province. Mr. Doni studied at St. Vincent de Paul High School, Garum, Blitar, East Java (1989-1992). Earning the baccalaureate degree (Sarjana strata 1) in philosophy (Indonesian Literature Department) at Driyarkara School of Philosophy, Jakarta (1994-1998) with his thesis entitled Keadilan dari Sudut Pandang
Liberalisme Politis Menurut John Rawls (Justice - Ideas from Political Liberalism point of view according to John Rawls) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Frans-Magnis Suseno, SJ dan Dr. I Wibowo, SJ. The baccalaureate degree on theology was received from the Gregorian University, Rome, Italy (2002-2005). After finishing his theological studies, he enrolled in a year course on Pedagogy and Professional Development in the Department of Science of Education at the Pontifical Salessian University, Rome, Italy (2005-2006). Then he  joint with the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and took Master degree in Education at Boston College Lynch School of Education, Boston, US (December, 2008).

Taching Latin and Religious Instruction at St. Peter Canisius, Mertoyudan, in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia (1998-2000); The prefect discipline student discipline and teaching religous instruction at John De Britto High School, In Jogjakarta, Central Java, Indonesia (2000-2001). Assistance Principal for Student Affair and Extracurricular Activities and English Teacher at Gonzaga High School, In Jakarta, Indonesia (2006-2007).

He is director at Character Education Consultant and Trainer at www.pendidikankarakter.org. Speaker at various workshops and seminar on Character Education and Teacher's Professional Development. Previously, he was Editor in Chief at Berani Newspaper Online (www.berani.co.id).

1. In 2011, Mr. Doni was the winning awards from Indonesian Minister of Education as one of his articles published on Indonesian Newspaper KOMPAS won the third place during the appreciation of educational writer on the occasion of celebration of National Education Day 2011.

2. In 2009, Mr. Doni received an award from Indonesian Minister of Education Muhammad Nuh as the Most Productive Educational Article Writer published on Media in 2008-2009.
